The Staff: Melanie was Great, friendly, courteous, organized. The lobby clean and decorated nicely with blue tones & ocean theme, felt inviting and comfy. This is our 2nd time to stay here. The room good size, bathroom clean, bed comfy, view was Awesome thru window, mini fridge, micro & TV worked Good! The parking, plenty of it and some covered. Even tho The Continental breakfast is small, it was tasty. Loved the location of hotel, convenient walk to yummy restaurants, bakery, shops, Nature Path & Beach. The must do is to walk on the path toward the Morro Rock (a Volcano plug), it has beautiful, flowers, nature (sea otters, habitat birds, squirrels, etc), lovely waves crashing on rocks in front of Morro Rock. Before you get to the Rock, the adult Sea Otters are resting in the water among sea weed, benches there so you can watch & take photos. However, signage reminding folks to Please give the Otters their space and not approach them, just watch from afar! The other side of Rock is a nice beach to hang out (sun bathers, surfers & fisherman). Love this little town, We'll definitely be back to stay at least 2 or more days at the Blue Sail Inn!
Los Osos is an enchanting and serene secret. We vacation there at least twice a year. There are magical sights, i.e Elfin Park, Montana de Oro, as well as local pubs and eateries locally. If you desire a relaxing getaway from work stress and freeways, Los Osos is where you'll find serenity.

This is a lesser known little town that is just delightful.
This is a lesser known little town that is just delightful. There are galleries, restaurants, a wonderful Monday farmers' market and friendly people. But the real gem is the access to state reserves and forests, beautiful beaches and bird sanctuaries. Nearby Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo offer wineries and other opportunities.

Los Osos is one of our favorite places to visit. The weather is wonderful. There are many beautiful places to visit close by, which is great because my husband is an artist and finds lots of beautiful subjects for his paintings. It’s quiet and the people are friendly and very helpful.
We can’t wait to go back!!

Los Osos is such a lovely, relaxing, sleepy little town close to Montaña de Oro. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved it. We marveled at how the tide of the bay changed constantly and the large cypress and eucalyptus trees in the neighborhood surrounding the bay. Sweet water nature preserve was a nice tranquil nearby walk. A town very close to nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting nearby Montaña de Oro amd Morro Bay.
We've been coming here a few time in the last year and we love this little hotel by the bay! Lovely views of the bay (for real!) from your room (esp, upstairs), exceptionnal room decorations (very large suites, perfect with a toodler), exceptionnaly nice service, great breakfast from the restaurant next door, it feels like home! Our favorite place around here. Very cosy! Plus coffee, tea and sweets always available in the lobby
Breakfast was next door at the Mexican restaurant and was really tasty. The room was excellent with everything you could need and a beautiful view of the ocean. Los Osos itself is a little sparse but as a stopover en route to San Francisco from LA it was ideal driving distance and provided scope for a relaxing start to a California travelling holiday. Coffees and cakes available at reception was a really nice touch
The homely, clean, and picturesque view of the room we stayed in rendered a wonderful leisure vacation for us. The food in the hotel was also very good and reasonably priced. The receptionists at the lobby were all so cordial and helpful. The location of the hotel is very close to Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, and San Luis Obispo. We are looking forward to another visit sometime in the near future.
Loved the balcony in our room (Cambria), where we enjoyed sunsets with wine and morning coffee. But remember to DRESS WARMLY!
Staff was very nice and helpful. Loads of complimentary snacks available along with complimentary wine in the afternoon.
Great location to visit other local towns, and not far from elephant seals in San Simeon. Also enjoyed the nearby bird sanctuary.
Brie, who was our server in the restaurant was fantastic, gave us recommendations on which beaches to visit. She was Very friendly, breakfast was delicious both days. Pretty grounds on the property. Easy access to Morro Bay and other areas. Montana De Oro Stat park is less than a mile away. Found multiple trails and beaches, not crowded. Gorgeous!!
The themed room is a great idea. We got to peek into some of the upgraded rooms and they look great.
The breakfast was quite good, kept us going for the day.
The young lady who served breakfast to our room was delightful. "good morning" big smile. Great start to the day.
Restaurants within walking distance to the hotel.
View of the Bay.
loved this hotel, the staff were friendly, they have everything you need in the room! The complimentary snacks were so welcome after travelling! everything was clean and the location is perfect! nice quiet location with a few restaurants!
plenty of parking!
Breakfast was Delicious! The best breakfast I've had at a hotel. If you stay here, try the breakfast because it's worth every penny paid.
The balcony was nice and so was the view at night.
Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful!
very comfortable hotel, with each room nicely themed (we had Americana). easy checkin and checkout.
Bonus was free wine and snacks in the evening.
Breakfast was provided by one (or another) local restaurants and was very good
Nice big room and patio, which we really love. To sit there, watching sunset and have a drink is one of the best moments of our holiday (we get probably best room in whole hotel). We were really satisfied.
Location was nice too.
super friendly staff. lots of free snacks and a wine hour. amazing location. free breakfast next door from hotel or a voucher for amazing coffee shop across the street on the bay. fireplace and lawn chairs are lovely.
The hotel is on the water. It offers a full breakfast at the Mexican restaurant next door. We were on the 2nd floor in the Quimper suite. They had snacks for you to have throughout the day. The staff were great.
